Registration


The registration site (JTB) has been closed. One who wants to register and has not finished can register on the registration desk.

Payment of the registration fee is treated by Japan Travel Bureau (JTB), one of the major travel agents in Japan. As payment methods, JTB provides a secure site for the credit cards and bank transfer number. Japanese participants can also pay from a convenience store.Participants can select either of these methods (see detail at the JTB registration site).

 
  • Credit card: can be selected by both foreign participants and Japanese participants.
  • Bank transfer: can be selected by both foreign participants and Japanese participants. The handling fee for bank transfer must be paid by the remitter. To select bank transfer, ask the bank account information at

Note: The IDs for paper submission and the registration are different. All the participants must register in the registration site of JTB. If you are a representative author of an accepted paper in a general session or special session, you should have got the submission ID in the notification of acceptance e-mail. You can link a registration ID to one or two submission IDs.

Caution

The submission IDs for both general session and special session were sent in the e-mail of "acceptance notification". IDs for general sessions are basically the ID that you got from the auto-reply system, but there are some changes. IDs for special sessions were given completely new.

If you are not an author of any paper of not a representative author of a paper, you don't need a submission ID.

 

Please see the figure below how to enter the submission ID when you make registration.

 

At least one EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION is MANDATORY for each submission of extended abstract (and its accompanying full paper) to be included in the book of abstract and the proceedings CD. One registration can cover up to two extended abstracts (accompanying paper follows).

The registration site automatically changes at 0:00 of Sept. 21, Japan standard time (JST). JST=GST+8 hours on Sept. 21.

The handling fee for bank transfer must be paid by the remitter.

A banquet ticket for an accompanying person or a student is JPY5,000.


*The "regular" registration fee entitles to:
1) Attendance at the conference
2) Conference document (CD-ROM and book of abstracts)
3) Social activities
4) Coffee and tea breaks
5) Reception
6) Banquet (on December 14, 2007)

Partial registration is not possible. Even if you don't need something among the items above, the registration fee will not be discounted.


*The "student" registration fee entitles to:
1) Attendance at the conference
2) Conference document (CD-ROM and book of abstracts)
3) Coffee and tea breaks
4) Reception
and is only applicable to full time students (*evidence is required. Download the form from HERE and send us the filled document to Prof. M. Tanaka by fax (+81-78-435-2540) when you make registration).
